For me, it began with the Great East Japan Earthquake. Facing a crisis at my company, I rebelled against my father’s insistence that “this is a time to endure.” Though I had no track record or ideas, I steeled myself, thinking, “If I’m going to die sitting still, I’d rather die moving.”
