The Meaning Behind Our Corporate Logo
Concept of the Logo Mark
Advance just one degree beyond the 90° angle, and the letter “T” appears. If we can keep moving forward, even just one degree beyond where we are now, we will surely encounter new value. This is the philosophy cherished by TAKAGI GROUP, embodied in our corporate logo.
Design of the Logotype
The logotype was designed by combining precise geometric shapes—a square and an equilateral triangle—with the soft, rounded form of an ellipse. It expresses the TAKAGI GROUP's stance of building upon solid technical foundations while incorporating flexible, human-centered values.

TAKAGI GROUP Representative
Since our founding, we have consistently handled everything in-house—from the design and development of office buildings to their on-site management and operation. Over approximately 60 years since our first building, the former Toranomon Takagi Building, we have provided office space to tenant companies. Through this experience, we have witnessed firsthand how the values associated with office buildings have evolved significantly with the times.
When rebuilding our headquarters, the Toranomon Takagi Building, following the Great East Japan Earthquake, we pursued a grand concept: “a building capable of sustaining value for 100 years.” We achieved this through meticulous design, seismic reinforcement, and high-specification equipment. However, as completion neared and we began tenant recruitment, heavily promoting the building's high specifications, I began to feel a sense of dissonance. Were relocating companies selecting buildings based solely on specifications? No, weren't they seeking something more as a place to work? Through daily conversations with executives and managers from potential tenant companies, I began to intuitively sense this. Then, the words of one company upon moving in confirmed my conviction.
“We chose this building because we were drawn to the Takagi Building's vision and philosophy.”
This company valued not only the building's specifications as an office space but also our vision and philosophy as a major factor in their decision to move in. Hearing this, I felt the long-held preconceptions rooted in real estate conventions, along with the unease I'd been harboring, begin to dissipate. Years of pursuing “creating comfortable, desirable offices” led me to realize that value creation requires not just the hard aspects like building and facility specifications, but also the soft aspects like the building management's vision and philosophy.
Looking back, this experience also reminded me that the solid management philosophy passed down from our founder and my grandfather, Hideo Takagi, serves as the foundation for walking alongside our tenants toward the future over the long term.
We at TAKAGI GROUP have strived to be business partners with our tenant companies, aiming to grow together and share in that joy. Believing this vision and philosophy will create new value for office buildings, we will advance initiatives beyond traditional real estate, including accompanying support for entrepreneurs, public-private partnerships for regional coexistence, and global startup support originating from coworking space and community management.
