Yet, through the doctor’s perspective, we realize that this very trial-and-error of small and medium-sized enterprises—this “figure something out”—is the “design” that breaks existing conventions and creates new value. In our daily work, the very act of grappling with challenges alongside our employees and squeezing out every ounce of wisdom might actually be an incredibly creative form of “design.”
