What Is the DX Gap? – How to Forge Your Career in the AI Era –

DX is no longer limited to specific industries or younger generations; it is becoming an essential “work skill” for everyone. This event features Mr. Matsuda of BIRTHERs(※), author of the book “DX Gap” (Sanseido, published July this year), who will delve into the theme “How to Forge Your Career in the AI Era.” Additionally, Mr. Yamagata, also a BIRTHERs member and featured as a role model in DX Gap, will share insights on building a practical career path and problem-solving methodologies. A casual networking session will follow the talk event, so please feel free to join us.

Yuma Matsuda(President / Ongigants Inc.)
Ph.D. (Engineering). Specially Appointed Professor, Faculty of Information Science, Yamato University; Director, AI Metaverse Lab. Researches next-generation AI using nonlinear science while developing practical DX talent development methods to enhance business professionals’ potential. Supports corporate digital transformation. Author of numerous works including Can We Entrust the Future to Artificial Intelligence? (Iwanami Shoten). His work has been featured in entrance exam questions for over 50 high schools and universities, and in 9 high school Japanese language textbooks from 7 publishers.
Nobuyuki Yamagata(Nerco Inc. / Representative Director)
Born in Wakayama Prefecture. After working at a publicly listed IT company and as a freelancer, he founded Nelco Inc. in 2017. Leveraging his engineering experience, he handles a wide range of businesses including website planning and production, IT implementation support for SMEs, app planning and production, and seminar operations.

Guided by the philosophy of “creating new value in real estate,” he oversees everything from design and development to management and operation of office buildings, residences, and coworking spaces, primarily in Tokyo. He also drives initiatives beyond traditional real estate boundaries to create new societal value, including collaborative projects with entrepreneurs, hands-on support, regional revitalization through municipal partnerships, and joint ventures with companies in different industries.
