¹Aiming for Industrial Promotion and Regional Revitalization through Human Resource Exchange

On Monday, January 27, 2025, a signing ceremony was held at Yamagata City Hall (Address: 2-3-25 Hatagomachi, Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture). This marks our fifth collaboration agreement with a local government. We will provide insights and expertise in community building cultivated through operating coworking spaces, aiming to promote industrial development and revitalize the region through human resource exchange.

Supporting City Promotion and Expanding the Related Population through Space Utilization

Takagi Building operates “BIRTH,” a life creation brand exploring the future of real estate by fostering connections with the community, environment, and education. Centered around the “BIRTH LAB” coworking space in Azabujuban, Tokyo, it promotes community management that cultivates fertile ground for startup growth. Currently, people from diverse industries—including IT, creative fields, public-private partnerships, education, finance, and HR—utilize “BIRTH LAB.” Membership has reached approximately 155 companies (as of the end of January 2025), fostering not only relationships with Takagi Building but also collaborations among members, generating new synergies. Furthermore, we are advancing new value creation beyond real estate through collaborations with member companies. Examples include “BIRTH DINING,” a restaurant developed with food and beverage businesses, and “SALON 91°,” a complex project promoting gathering spaces through both software and hardware initiatives. Building on the community-building and collaborative expertise cultivated by Takagi Building, we have entered into a comprehensive partnership agreement with Yamagata City. This agreement aims to leverage BIRTH LAB for city promotion, expand the population connected to the city, and serve as a catalyst for regional revitalization.
