CEO X Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Hayato Kaneda) has commenced accepting entries for the second phase of its project supporting aspiring entrepreneurs in Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture, commissioned by the city government. The project is titled “CEO AUDITION ~Producing Nobeoka’s CEOs~.” Our Representative Director and Head of the TAKAGI Group, Hidekuni Takagi, is participating as a judge. In the first audition held last year, 18 participants passed the screening. Subsequently, 15 participants secured support from the judges during the challenge stage. Participants came from diverse backgrounds, with enthusiastic challengers gathering from both within and outside Nobeoka City. This audition-style program targets individuals interested in starting a business in Nobeoka City or those who have already launched a business and seek further growth. The only requirements for participation are enthusiasm and passion; age, experience, and business plans are not factors. Successful candidates receive expert consultations and technical support, while those not selected can still access specific benefits. By fostering CEOs through this project, we aim to revitalize Nobeoka’s economy and promote renewal. The CEO AUDITION evaluates candidates through a two-stage screening process, assessing their determination and passion to become a CEO, their commitment to Nobeoka, and whether they possess the character suitable for a CEO. Successful candidates then advance to the Challenge Stage, where they present themselves and their vision for Nobeoka directly to the judges and receive immediate feedback.

　・ Individuals who wish to start a business in Nobeoka or are considering doing so
　・ Individuals who have already started a business in Nobeoka but wish to achieve further growth

■ Requirements
　・ No age or experience restrictions; no business plan required
　・ Assessment based on passion and drive to become a CEO, and the individual’s character
　・ Evaluation of your feelings toward Nobeoka and awareness of its challenges
　　　　　※ Residence in Nobeoka City is not a requirement

■ Support Details
　・ Opportunities for meetings with company executives in Tokyo or Osaka, business concept development, etc.
　・ Hosting informative seminars
　・ Participation in management development support programs

　・ Introduction to startup support organizations in Nobeoka City and Miyazaki Prefecture based on consultation needs
　・ Implementation of study sessions and networking events: ‘Guide to Starting a Business’ study sessions / Networking events for successful applicants
　・ Provision of startup support information from Nobeoka City and Miyazaki Prefecture: Startup School, information sharing on various subsidies and startup support systems
　・ Access to the “Mahoroba AI Community” – Participation in the generative AI learning community “Mahoroba AI Community” and provision of learning opportunities

Audition Traditional business plan contests tend to favor those who can actively pursue entrepreneurship, evaluating past successful business models, presentation skills, and management team backgrounds. In contrast, the “CEO Audition” prioritizes discovering and developing the individual character and behavioral traits of the CEO candidate through the screening process, rather than focusing solely on prior CEO experience or the business idea itself. We actively seek to collaborate with and develop not only those who can proactively start a business or experienced professional managers, but also individuals facing constraints due to family circumstances or physical challenges, those driven by ambition to earn money, or those interested in pursuing entrepreneurship as a side venture.
