About the Japan Space Design Awards
Established in 2019 to connect the value of spatial design to the future, it is Japan’s only and largest spatial design award. Its purpose is to discover and evaluate outstanding designers and exceptional design works from both Japan and abroad. It shares outstanding designs from Japan with the world, conveying the “power of spatial design” to many people. As society grows more complex, people’s values are shifting from material abundance to emotional richness, confronting numerous challenges.
